Our research
in criminology uses advanced regression and data mining
methods for the purpose of identifying predictive variables
that would help law enforcement agencies identify early
on, predictive patterns of criminal behavior. We are investigating
methodologies that can assists law enforcement agencies
in predicting general patterns of behavior that may lead
to terrorist activities. With the development and use
of more advanced computational models, we aim to assist
law enforcement officials to address issues relevant to
terrorism.
